The performance is great... but the trick.... I am really wondering how P&T couldn't figure it out.....

at 3:11 he grabs a pre-made lego "card" from the box as he's grabbing the tubs of Legos. He affixes it to the back of the panel at 5:10 as he and Penn spin it around.

Well, I chose the 10 of spades at home watching this, so he was incorrect.

I'm not saying he's an actual wizard toying with Penn and Teller but I am saying that this is exactly what I think it would look like if an actual wizard were toying with Penn and Teller.

Penn going "You'll let me do this?" is him essentially saying "If you're not the one to open this block and box now, how are you going to put the correct card in there?". He even told him "Don't help me too much" as if to say, "If you don't touch the box now, I don't have the slightest clue how you did it". I'm raking my brain how this could be done and the only potentially viable way would be to have a blank card inside the box and the thing that we think is the "pipi alarm" is actually some sort of tiny printer... but I have a hunch that such a kind of mechanical/technological trickery wouldn't be allowed on the show. So yeah, if that's not the case, my second best guess is that actual magic was involved.

I LOVE IT when Teller is fooled and makes that "how??" face of his.

This would have been MUCH better without the top and bottom buffers added to it for your social media advertisements.

Penn's reaction of "oh, you're going to let me open this?" seemed genuinely incredulous. I have no clue -- could there be a tiny printer in there? I love this trick, I can't figure it out either. The "alarm" is the excuse for having some electronics in there? But the face of the card looked too real to have been printed right then and there and it would have made noise. There seems to not be enough room to hide a full deck of card and... the machine that could pull one specific card out? Okay, rewatching, there is an opening in the block of clay, on the side facing Teller when it comes out. There must be a gap in the box sufficient to slide the card in, I don't think he could build the clay around the box... hm, or maybe. Okay, final speculation: The clay was not sealed on one side. Neither was the box. Slid the selected card in (not sure which move he used to get rid of the rest of them), then sealed the box by squeezing it, sealed the clay by hand. The card looked liked it has been slightly mangled. The alarm is just a distraction. I'm pretty sure I'm wrong, but that's my analysis: Full deck of cards inside the lego box, clay open on one side, the wooden box possibly open. Selected card gets slid in, squeeze the box shut, seal the clay. [EDIT]: In any case, that was a great trick and a great performance. Very entertaining and certainly made me curious.

Easy and brilliant. He held a 52 card deck in his hidden hand and masterfully counted through the deck stopping on the card. The box had a loose top.. slips card inside, pinches open end of clay box shut. Two things give this away… one side of the clay was closed, and the card was bent in the box meaning it was bent while sliding it in. Great illusion.

Great show and genious! This is of course not a card trick but a mentalist trick. This guy actually buys himself with his story over a minute time to do on the middle of the stage with his left hand, what he wants -- without any one getting suspicious! Simply genious!!! Fully deserved the prize.

My guess is that he has some sort of buttons at the back of the canvas, on the right side behing the card, because he covers it with his hand when showing the backside of it. He only has to do 5 numbers and 4 suits. I believe the trick is done right at the time of reveal, when hes opening it with the screwdriver while pressing something behind it. The suit color could be done using those thin lego pieces, covering the sides with white.

Why did jandro look so surprised that the card matched. It's almost as if he genuinely didn't kno if the card was there. Makes me wonder if he took a 1/52 chance fr😂

Hmmm, hand hidden from view, deck of cards inside (in order), he counts down to selected card, slips it into small (almost invisible) slot on box, reseals clay and smooths over, puts remaining deck on a clamp and pre-stretched elastic pulls it up his sleeve. I dunno, this one seems easier to solve than most

This dude is just incredible.

The only magic here is that this guy didn't jump off a cliff after losing all his hair at such a young age.

i very much disliked the music, the the cheesiness, production overall. I know these guys and how great they are, but i cant watch this :(

Well he is holding his hand inside the lego structure the entire time. Don't you think one with an intermediate skill in 5 minutes would be able to locate the 2 of diamonds in a sorted deck, put it inside the box through a a slit and close the clay wrap? You can even see the clay opening at 6:14. The dumbest trick ever.

The real magic is that he fooled them a second time with the same exact card (2 of diamonds) just like the first time.

This was the beginning of the end for this show, as far as integrity goes. This was a set up, he is a close friend of P&T. It was a put on. An act. After this, they caved in to the fearmongering the pand-em-ic caused and still to this day they do it. A fake audience, fake fools, they have lost all integrity and have caved to the reality TV protocol. Which is a damn shame considering how Penn has gone on and on about truth and integrity. The show is bogus. And that's a damn shame.

So Teller always chooses the 2 of diamonds with this guy?

I know they don’t allow stewging, but I feel like he has fooled them with. 2 of diamonds before.

The best thing is Teller's face when the 2 of Diamos appear... He has no clue how the guy got it right.

I dont know exactly how he did it but that was a long time with his hand hidden in the box after the selection was made. Plenty of time to index a card put it in the box put battery in the alarm and mash a flap in the clay to seal... Sometimes i wonder if every fooler really fooled them.. Just sayin..

I can only guess that the alarm goes off when triggered by the key? Thus allowing him to get the card into the box without the alarm going off and setting the mold after.

The method is irrelevant.. the performance was impeccable. Beautifully done Jandro !

What would advice would you give to someone who wants fool Penn and Teller

Easy trick. 13 pins x 4 sides. Each side have 13pins , the pin hole through which you insert the screw driver to remove the box, the respected card is printed in it. Easy to manufacture it.
